Prescriptions, Refills, After Hours Access
Prescriptions:
At the Smith Breast Care Center, we provide prescriptions
for medications related to your breast care needs. Our electronic medical
record will provide computer-generated
prescriptions, which are easily read by pharmacists. Printed information
is available for nearly all prescribed medications. Please check with your
insurance plan for names of pharmacies where you can have your prescription
filled. It is helpful if you can provide us with the name and phone number
of your pharmacy to assist us with refills.
Refills:
If you need refills on any medications prescribed
by your Breast Care Center physician, please call us 24 hours in advance
at 713-798-1799, with the name and the phone number of your pharmacy.
After Hours Access:
The Breast Care Center is open Monday
through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., except for holidays. If you need
assistance after these hours or
on weekends, please call 713-798-1999; your call will be forwarded to
our answering service. You will always be put in contact with a Breast
Care Center physician.
