Baylor College of Medicine is affiliated with a number of hospitals, centers
and clinics in the Texas Medical Center, Ben Taub General Hospital, Harris
County Hospital District, The Institute for Rehabilitation and Research,
The Menninger Clinic, The Methodist Hospital, Michael E. DeBakey Veterans
Affairs Medical Center, St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital and Texas Children's
Hospital.
In the Smith Breast Center's primary care center we have
also established a breast cancer clinic and risk assessment/prevention
clinic at the Ben
Taub Hospital, organized and staffed by physicians from the Breast Care
Center, has been established in an attempt to provide similarly
excellent
care to more under served women in the Houston area. In addition to this, approximately 2000
patients per year are evaluated and treated for breast disease and breast
cancer at Ben Taub by Breast Center staff.
