Dr. Fuqua invites applications for a Post-doctoral Training Program in Translational Breast Cancer Research in her laboratory. She seeks to recruit outstanding individuals who are interested in a unique program offering an organized training program in clinical and basic biology of breast cancer. Research areas for independent and novel research include investigation into estrogen receptors alpha and beta function in tumorigenesis and metastatic behavior using xenograft and transgenic mouse models, mechanisms of tamoxifen resistance, and signal transduction via PKA, AKT, c-Src kinase, and MAPK phosphatases.
