Breast Center Animal Handling and Imaging Core Facility
The primary objectives of this core:
- To provide assistance with issues related to animal handling, husbandry,
and phenotyping.
- To provide state-of-the-art facilities and technical support for,
and expertise in, mammary-specific and general surgical procedures.
- To provide imaging capabilities for evaluation of mammary phenotypes,
tumor development and metastasis in prepared specimens and living mice.
- To serve as a center for coordination of tissue sharing among investigators.
