Breast Center Animal Handling and Imaging Core Facility

The primary objectives of this core:

  1. To provide assistance with issues related to animal handling, husbandry, and phenotyping.
  2. To provide state-of-the-art facilities and technical support for, and expertise in, mammary-specific and general surgical procedures.
  3. To provide imaging capabilities for evaluation of mammary phenotypes, tumor development and metastasis in prepared specimens and living mice.
  4. To serve as a center for coordination of tissue sharing among investigators.
